Email header Analysis


This tool tells you where the email came from, and goes through every last detail in the email header then puts each bit in a table along with an explanation of what it means

If you use Gmail, open the email then click the arrow to the right of the reply button, click 'show original' and copy everything on that page into the box below
If you use Yahoo, open the email then click 'more' at the top, click 'view full header' and copy everything on that box into the box below
If you use Outlook/MSN/Hotmail/Live email, open the email then click 'actions' at the top right, click 'view message source' and copy everything on that page into the box below
If you use the Microsoft Outlook email client, open the email in a new window (double click on it), click 'file', click 'properties' then copy everything in the 'Internet headers' section into the box below

This tool uses SpamAssassin to tell you if an email is a scam, or spam, or safe complete with a detailed list of what looked suspicious in the email
